Transpo Services Limited will be working for Transpo Claim Services to
settle your claim. We are all committed to processing your claim in an
efficient and timely manner.
Please take a moment to look over the Tips and Instructions below and then submit your Claim Form.
Tips and Instructions for filing a claim with Transpo Claim Services:
- If your shipment moved through DPS, the military requires you to file your claim through the DPS website: https://eta.sddc.army.mil/ETASSOPortal/default.aspx
- The military allows us 60 days to settle your claim from the time we receive a completed Claim Form. A Claim Form is complete only after Transpo Claim Services has received all required documentation.
- Failure to submit a completed Claim Form will result in your claim being delayed.
- Transpo Claim Services reserves the right to inspect all damage, therefore, you must retain all items you are claiming until Transpo Claim Services or Transpo Services Limited releases them for disposal. Failure to do so may result in denial of your claim.
- In many instances pictures and original purchase receipts are required. Once an adjudicator reviews your claim they will advise what is needed.
- Full Replacement Value is only paid for items that are completely destroyed or missing.
- Fill out Sections 1; 5-10; 11a or 11b; 12-13; and 23 carefully before submitting your form. If any of these sections are not filled out your form will be returned to you.
- Separate your shipments as you record damages (i.e. keep your household goods and baggage separate). Transpo Claim Services can only settle for damages on shipments that were tendered to us and we can only settle on one type of shipment at a time.
- Pictures and supporting documents are necessary for all items valued at more than $100.00.
- You must include the following with your Claim: Current mailing address; Your GBL Number; Repair estimates; Insurance documentation verifying value; Receipts; DD Form 1840 and DD Form 1840R.
